On this episode, Jordan “Cigar Guy” Warf introduces us to a cigar that you just might lose your head over. The Namakubi is the latest offering from Room 101 Cigars and the name, when translated, means “severed head”. It dates back to a tradition among Samurai warriors that the head of a defeated Samurai would be presented to the leader of the winning Samurais. The Namakubi cigar is made up of a Corojo binder with Honduran and Dominican fillers. It is finished off with a dark, reddish Habano wrapper. The Namakubi has a medium to full-bodied taste with notes of cedar, earth, and leather. Tune in to find out how this cigar got its name.
