Rosanna "Ro" Pansino is an American actress. She was born in Seattle, Washington, and now resides in California. Rosanna has had a lasting love affair with the performing arts since a young age. In high school she starred in the musical production of Grease as the lead character, “Sandy”, and performed in many other drama club performances. Combining both her love of all things nerdy and baking, Nerdy Nummies focuses on baking things that every geek would love to have in his or her kitchen table. Ro gives you step by step by step instructions and recipes so that you can impress your friends and family the next time you are all together. From cakes to cupcakes, tune in every week for another new bakin creation from Nerdy Nummies! After being cast as the supporting role of “Ensign Kelly” in the largest production going on in Seattle, an independent film series called “Star Trek: Phoenix,” she made the decision to move to California in the summer of 2009. Upon moving to LA, she immediately began training for film and television and was cast out of 36,000 applicants on VH1's reality series Scream Queens. In 2010, she guest starred on the television show Warren The Ape as nerdy character Leih Finklebam. She has also embarked on some print work as well, having done a photo shoot for the Italian men’s magazine, L’UOMO Vogue, with Los Angeles basketball star, Kobe Bryant. In addition to acting, Rosanna has a passion for community service. Most notability she traveled to the poorest regions of China to live, teach and work side-by-side with students, teachers, and government officials with a program aimed at alleviating poverty through education. After participating in this global community service effort, Rosanna was given the title of “Educational Goodwill Ambassador” by educational leaders of the program at Tsinghua University, for displaying the best of America’s cultural values while practicing global citizenship at the grass roots level. From her travels to China, attending a Native American elementary school, to performing traditional Hawaiian hula dance, Rosanna has partaken in myriad cultural experiences that help feed her ability to take on roles from numerous cultural backgrounds.
