The Neanderthal Ball at the Orlando Science Center Presented by Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children
October 5, 2011, 1:11 am
Party like a caveman at the Orlando Science Center’s Annual Neanderthal Ball on Saturday, November 5. From 7 to 11 p.m., participate in a “diamond dig” for an authentic diamond, examine real fossils, or witness the latest in “caveman couture” with guests encouraged to dress in animal prints or go full “caveman” or
“cavewoman” with themed apparel. It’s a night of prehistoric fun in the dinosaur exhibit to benefit programs for youth at the Orlando Science Center.
Not only is this ball filled with fun activities for you to enjoy, it is an upscale dining experience. Exquisite gourmet food from Stonewood Grill as well as Olive Garden’s fine wines and Orlando Brewing Company’s
artisan beers. Still not satisfied, this year Absolut vodka is featuring a martini bar to move our theme into the Ice Age in a themed area within the Science Center’s astronomy exhibit.
The Neanderthal Ball is presented by Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children with additional sponsorship provided by M&I – a part of BMO Financial Group, SAIC,The Women’s Center of Orlando and American Airlines. The event serves as the Science Center’s biggest friend-raiser of the year and attracted over 600 guests last year. Guests will rock out with themed entertainment and music, bid on the incredible silent auction items, indulge in the delectable food and wine choices, and witness the spectacular view from the terrace overlooking the City Beautiful.
So dust off your club and drag your date to the Neanderthal Ball. The cost of the event is $125 per person for individual tickets and sponsorships are available from $1,500 to $5,000. All sponsorships include tickets to
the Neanderthal Ball and various levels of promotional opportunities.
