A group of foodie friends has evolved its regular dinner parties into Orlando’s newest restaurant —The Table in The Dellagio Town Center on Orlando’s Restaurant Row near the tourist corridor. From its website, thetableorlando.com, the restaurant appears to have an exclusive vibe. The Table is open Fridays and Saturdays only and seats about 20 guests at a single table. Evenings include an hors d’oeuvre and a champagne reception along with a five-course meal and wine pairings.
The team includes chefs Tyler A. Brassil and Loren Falsone and some impressive partners. Falsone graduated from Johnson & Wales University with an associate degree in culinary arts and a bachelor of science in food service management. She worked at the renowned restaurant Al Forno in Providence, R.I., with George Germon and Johanne Killeen. In addition, she has worked with Julia Child, Lida Bastianich and Wolfgang Puck. According to the website, when she and husband Brassill moved to Orlando in 2003, Falsone joined the Seasons 52 team. Currently, she is an instructor at Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Academy.
Brassil graduated from Johnson & Wales University as well and opened 15 restaurants before relocating to Orlando. He also teaches at Orlando’s Le Cordon Bleu. “We’re all involved,” said Brassil. “We interact with the guests. We serve the food. Everyone is onboard.”
