The Orange County Regional History Center has extended the stay of “Games People Play: The Evolution of Video Games” by two weeks. The last day will now be Sept. 25.
The exhibit looks at the development of the games as far back as the 18th century. Guests can see vintage models and follow developments through Atari, Nintendo and today’s gaming systems. Classic arcade games such as Donkey Kong and Space Invaders are available for play.
In addition, the history center will again present a Retro Gaming Arcade event from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sept. 17. Participants will play classic video games from the ’70s and ’80s backed by music of the period. It’s included in regular admission.
