Kopp Brings Pop to Science Center Guitar Exhibit

Emerging Pop Songstress Emily Kopp is scheduled to perform at the Orlando Science Center as part of the celebration for the world premiere exhibit, “GUITAR: The Instrument That Rocked the World.” Her shows will be held Saturday, July 30, 2011 at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
Originally from Louisville, Kentucky, Emily moved to Fort Lauderdale as a young child. While there, she began singing and playing guitar and drums. Moving to Orlando as an adult, she continued to pursue her passion with a soulful voice reminiscent of musicians such as Norah Jones, Adele, & Corinne Bailey Rae. Kopp’s debut album, entitled “Just Clothes,” will be released this Fall.
General admission is $17 for adults, $12 for youth ages 3 to 11. Seating is limited in the Darden Theater and available on a first come/first serve basis. Guests can reserve seats for an additional $5. General admission includes access to the guitar exhibit plus all four floors of interactive exhibit galleries, giant screen films and live science demonstrations. For any information call 407-514-2000
