Electrify your Evening with High Voltage at the Orlando Science Center

The Orlando Science Center is premiering a highly charged new show that sparks the imagination of guests young and old while it educates about the electron. “High Voltage!” examines the principles of electricity and explores some of the early pioneers that helped advance all of the technologies that we use today.
The demonstrations will include a new piece, a Singing Tesla Coil, and a refurbished eight foot tall Van de Graaff generator. You can watch the sparks fly during hair-raising audience participation. During the show, audiences will experience electrifying live demonstrations while discovering fun facts about voltage and current, static electricity, AC and DC and much more.
High Voltage! premieres this Friday, July 29, and happens every Friday at 6:15 p.m. until August 19, 2011. Doors open 10 minutes prior to showtime. All seating is first come first serve, it takes place at the Darden Theater, Level 2, Orlando Science Center.
