June 17, 2011, 5:32 am
If you like being patriotic while you travel then this is your lucky day! As the planes take-off and touch down outside of the airport, inside the soaring sounds of the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra will leave the main terminal travelers feeling patriotic. On Saturday night, June 25, The Greater Orlando Aviation Authority, as well as the Hyatt Regency Orlando International Airport and the Orchestra invite the community, travelers and any visitors to share in a musical celebration of freedom. This year’s theme is “The Blessings of Liberty” and will feature patriotic classics, along with contemporary favorites. Composers such as Sousa, Copland and Bernstein will be featured throughout the evening. Perhaps the greatest highlight of the evening will be a salute to all of our nation’s veterans.
The event begins at 8:00 p.m. in the atrium of the Hyatt Regency Hotel near the entrances to gates 60-129 at the Orlando International Airport. To offer access to as many guests as possible, attendees will receive three hours of complimentary garage parking.
