Florida police reported that they have caught the teenage who escaped from a north Florida jail last week. The 17 year old boy was taken into custody by the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Department on Tuesday. On April 19th, the teen escaped from the Marion County Jail. Authorities believed the teen would be in the Jacksonville area after he was seen leaving a hotel there on Friday. This was not his first breakout, as he had previously escaped on March 10 with another teen but was later captured. Before his escape attempts, the teen was already facing gun possession, theft and burglary charges. There are also reports that say the teen’s mother helped him in his most recent attempt. Because of this, she has been charged with aiding escape from a detention facility and fleeing and eluding.
