This week marks the eighth running of the Tavistock Cup golf tournament between four of the most prestigious gold clubs in the world. The tournament had been previously held between the Isleworth and Lake Nona clubs, but with more and more pros making Florida their home base the event has chosen to expand. In 2011 the decision was made to add teams representing Albany and Queenwood. Each golf club has a team which consists of six golf pros who play for prize money, team hole-in-one prizes and the title of World Golf and Country Club Champion. The two-day tournament will also introduce a new playing format this year. After the first day of competition Tiger Woods’ former club Isleworth holds a 2 shot lead over Woods’ new club, Albany.
