Political upheaval in the Middle East, in particular the oil producing country of Libya has led to increased oil prices; which means higher gas prices all over the United States. According to fuelgaugereport.com, the price of a gallon of regular gas in Orlando was $3.17 on Thursday, up from $3.09 a week earlier. In Florida, it was $3.21 Thursday, up from $3.14 a week earlier and $2.73 a year ago. “The oil market is always looking for reasons to rise,” says Tom Kloza, the chief analyst for the Oil Price Information Service in New Jersey says. “And, as reasons go, this is a pretty good one.”
