Magic upset by struggling Kings

Dwight Howard scored 31 points and pulled down 17 rebounds but it was not enough as the Magic fell to the underachieving Sacramento Kings Wednesday by the score of 111-105. Sacramento point guard Tyreke Evans missed the game with plantar fasciitis so the load fell onto Jermaine Taylor, and he answered the call. Taylor led the way for the Kings with 21 points, while Beno Udrih added 18 big points to go along with Samuel Dalembert and Jason Thompson 17 points a piece. It’s a bad loss for Orlando on their home court as the Kings have only won three of their last eleven games. With the increased talent flocking to the Eastern Conference and Dwight Howard’s contract status looming the Magic have no time to waste and must try and eliminate lapses like the one that occurred Wednesday night.
