Magic handle the Bobcats Sunday

The Magic never trailed during its impressive 100-86 win over the Charlotte Bobcats on Sunday. The most important thing about this victory is that they showed consistency, which is something they have lacked during the last couple of games. “The thing I liked is I thought we were pretty consistent throughout,” Coach Stan Van Gundy said. “Not many games lately have we won every quarter. We never really ever had a big burst. I didn’t think our energy was particularly high, but we were consistent throughout, playing from in front the whole game. So that part was good.”

Howard cobtinued his dominant month of February by scoring 20 points and gathering 10 rebounds in just 33 minutes.¬†Howard has been tough on his teammates lately but after Sunday’s game sounded more positive.”We’re talented enough to beat anybody,” Howard said. “We’re equipped now, like Coach would say, to win a championship. But we have to continue to play hard and be consistent in what we do. That’s the only way we’re gonna get to where we’re trying to get to.”
