History made in Daytona

The Super Bowl of Nascar was held Sunday afternoon as the best drivers in the world gathered for the Daytona 500. No one could have predicted the outcome as youngster Trevor Bayne became the youngest driver to ever win the race at the ripe old age of 20. The race itself proved to be troublesome, there were 74 lead changes among 22 drivers and a record 16 cautions. Many of the sport’s biggest names such as Jeff Gordon, Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Jimmie Johnson had their hopes dashed due to car wrecks. Bayne walks away from the race with $1.5 million in prize money.
