Flights cancelled at Orlando airport due to snowstorms

As of 5:30 a.m. Wednesday, 138 flights out of or into OIA have been canceled due to large snow storms across the country. The record snow storm billed as the worst in decades pounded city after city as it made its way from Texas to Maine. It’s brought cities like Tulsa, Chicago, Indianapolis, Detroit and St. Louis to a halt and prompted almost a nation-wide snow day. Forecasters warn drivers and commuters that ice accumulations could cause fallen tree limbs and power lines. Ice also could affect transit service, even as plows try to keep up with the snow storms.
